Hi there. I’m Susan.
In midlife, I made a bold and meaningful career pivot — leaving behind positions in business management, I pursued a Master’s degree in Education and became a career counselor at Purdue University. Over the course of a decade, I worked with hundreds of college students, guiding them to uncover their strengths, clarify their interests, and choose majors and career paths that truly fit who they are.
After my time in higher education, I felt called to expand my impact. I earned my Coaching Certification through iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching), an International Coaching Federation–accredited program known for its depth and rigor. I am certified to coach across all life areas and am also qualified to administer the Strong Interest Inventory®, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, and the Energy Leadership Index® — powerful tools that illuminate how we work, decide, and show up in the world.
Like you, I’ve faced seasons of uncertainty and challenge. I’ve had to adapt, recalibrate, and step into the unknown time after time. I’ve confronted fear, stretched beyond my comfort zone, and chosen authenticity — again and again. Creating a life aligned with my strengths and values hasn’t always been easy, but it has been deeply worth it. Supporting others along this journey is part of me living my best life.
In recent years, I received an advanced-stage cancer diagnosis. There is nothing quite like hearing the words, “You have cancer.” Knowing I wasn’t ready to leave this world, I began researching how I could support my body’s capacity to heal. That search led me to Dr. Kelly A. Turner’s book, Radical Remission, and ultimately to becoming a certified Radical Remission Health Coach. Through this journey, I learned how to collaborate with my body’s innate capacity for healing. Today, I feel strong — physically and emotionally — and I carry deep hope. Helping others navigate their own healing journeys is now one of the greatest honors of my life.
Whether you come to me for career clarity, life transition support, or health coaching, you can expect a space for honest reflection, expanded perspective, and practical, empowering next steps. Coaching is a partnership. When my guidance meets your willingness to grow, the results are profound.
